Chart Review
This specialty clinical system design (CSD) work package gathers supports for Specialty Workgroups guiding the initial customization of the Connect Care clinical information system (CIS), focusing on "Chart Review" activities. Most Connect Care Area Councils (CCACs) and their Specialty Workgroups (SWGs) will have already gained experience with specialty customizations through the “Quick-Wins”, “Workflow”, “Documentation” and “Communication” work packages.
Customizations are related to:
Reviewing the chart
Wrap up and sign off
Patient Lists, Multiple Provider Schedule, Synopsis, Results Review, Chart Review, Patient Summary, SnapShot report and Sidebar report

The following questions need to be addressed as part of this work package:
What (if any) changes need to be made to the "Multi-Provider Schedule" layout for your specialty?
What (if any) changes need to be made to the patient status events tracked in the "Multi-Provider Schedule"?
Does your specialty require a standardized outpatient summative report in addition to the Snapshot?
Does your specialty require a standardized inpatient summative report in addition to the prescriber overview?
Does your specialty have any suggested changes to the standardized nursing overview report?
Does your specialty require any essential additions or changes to the "Synopsis" views provided?
Does your specialty require any essential changes to the standard outpatient chart "Sidebar"?
